My Dear Mother,

         Glad to receive your sweet letter. I am quite well here and you need not be worried about me. I am writing below about the prize day of our school.

         Our prize day was held on 2nd May, 04. We decorated the gate and the school compound very nicely. The Chief Minister was the Chief Guest. The Inspector of Schools, Jagatsingpur was the Chief Speaker. Our Headmaster presided over the meeting. After speech of the dignitaries the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the students. I have got two fist prizes and one second prize in Essay, debate and spot painting respectively.

           Hope, this will find you all in good health. Love to you and regards to father.
