Nation Language for India

Introduction:-
India is not a uni-lingual country like U.K. or U.S.A. It is a multi-lingual country like Switzerland. Russia and Indonesia. People of different parts of India speak different languages, such as, Oriya, Bengali, Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Canarese, Malayalam, Urdu and so on. Besides, there are a number of dialects and aboriginal languages. English is spoken as the mother-tongue by the Anglo-Indian community of India. Hence, India needs a national language or lingual-franca for all the people of India.

Hindi as the national language of India:-

Since the pre-independence period, Mahatma Gandhiji was against Hindi to be accepted as the national language. He was favouring Hindustani which has a large  vocabulary of Urdu wards. Gandhiji disagreed with the Hindi Prachar Samity of India and severed all connections from it. However, after freedom, Hindi was introduced as our national language under the bayonet of the Hindi stalwarts like Purusottam Das Tondon but at the teeth of southern opposition. The Hindi scripts with English numerals were introduced. The Hindi stalwarts still fought against English numerals but failed.

Difficulties and opposition:-
Hindi is opposed because it is a very difficult and complicated language. Hindi has a difficult grammar. The Hindi grammar has got a ridiculous gender system. Hindi is not a rich language. So, Hindi is neither respectful nor useful. Therefore, people oppose to it vehemently. Majority number of Indian states are non-Hindi-speaking States. We have got a rich and scientific language like English. So, people do not want to part with English for Hindi.

What should be done:-
Indian needs a language common to all Indians. But Indian can part with English only to her peril. So, it must be declared that English will remain in India in her usual position. Hindi will be used as second language only to keep contact inside India. For this Hindi language should be simplified. Hindi grammar should be simplified. Te ridiculous gender system of the Hindi grammar should be abolished. It would be better it the Hindi script be replaced by the Roman script.

Conclusion:-
However, we should all read Hindi as our official language. Because it is now our constitutional official language, though it is not our popular national language. It is proved by the Dravide Kazagam Movement in the South India. But we should not impair the position of English. Because that will give rise to another Pakistan in South. Bengal may revolt and may demand sovereignty as it once had done over another issue. Orissa may not be happy over it. Because we do not want to lose English. We do not want to lose a valuable treasure which God has given  us to attain national solidarity a rare thing in the history of India.

World Peace

Introduction:-
Peace is the mother of progress. Without peace a nation cannot make any progress. So peace is ever desirable. But now-a-days if there be no peace, the whole human race will be destroyed. because modern war involves atom bomb and hydrogen bomb. So, war should always be avoided for world peace.

Horror of the modern war:-

world Peace essay
The ancient battles were confined between two opposite armies. They were limited within a field called battlefield. But the modern warfare is totally different. The fight is not confined in a field or within the armies. The war-aeroplanes destroy the civilians by dropping bombs from the sky. On the 6th August 1945 the sliced army dropped a small atom bomb on a Japanese city Hiroshima. The whole city was destroyed within a second. Not a single man could escape. Nagasaki another city of Japan got the same fate on the 9th August 1945. These two bombs with the brightness of thousand suns performed their monstrous destruction. This opened the eyes of the whole world. The wise men counted that the human civilization world be ruined to the bit, if a war ever takes place. So, they are working hard to establish permanent peace in the world. Except some war-mongers, the whole world is in favour of peace.

The cold war:-
Since the Second World War was over, the world has been divided into two opposite camps-one under the leadership of Anglo-American block under her own leader-ship. All these activities mean  restlessness and race of armament. This was called, 'cold war'. Though there was no actual war there existed war-like condition such as army-mobilization, conscription, making of arms and the like. This might lead to war at any time. Since the disintegration of Russia, the cold war has declined.

Movement for world peace:-
United Nations Organization is the outcome of the desire of the world people. The organization is working for world peace by pursuation, conciliation, arbitration and by fighting against the culprit propounded by Jawaharlal Nehru has been accepted by many countries for world peace. The five points are- (1) mutual respect for one anther's territorial integrity and sovereignty. (2) non-aggression, (3) non-interference in one another's internal affairs for any reason of economic, political or ideological character, (4) equality and mutual befit, (5) peaceful co-existence. India and the other non-aligned countries together have organized to peace-area.
Conclusion:-
World-peace is absolutely necessary. The public opinion of the world is in favour of lasting peace. None in the world approves of the military action of China in the border of India. It is hoped, world-peace will gain ground. Long live world peace.

As all other vehicles aeroplanes are prone to meet accidents. An aeroplane, while flying, may dash against a mountain peak and fall down broken. Generally it may happen in foggy weather. While flying it may dash against a flying vulture, go out of order and fall down. Sometimes the aeroplane-engine may catch fire from within and is burnt up. For some reason its engine may fail and the aeroplane may fall down. falling down of an aeroplane from the sky means disaster. Generally such accidents happen in the sky. Aeroplanes may face some accidents on the ground too. While in the sky an aeroplane may be hijacked by terrorists. Sometimes it is destroyed by bomb-blast. AEROPLANE ACCIDENT
An aeroplane-accident means a major loss. generally the rich people travel by the aeroplane, men of importance need to travel by aeroplanes. If an aeroplane meets an accident, such precious people perish. Aeroplane is a very costly device. Its destruction means a major loss. India lost two of her illustrious sons in two aeroplane accidents. One of them is Subash Chandra Bose, and the other is Homi Jahangir Bhaba, the inventor of Indian atom bomb.

How the cause is detected:-
Now-a-days a kind of machine called the black box is fitted near the seat of the pilot. When an aeroplane is destroyed by an accident, the cause of this accident is known from this black box. But it is very difficult to find out the black-box among the remnants of the broken aeroplane.

Conclusion:-
Aeroplane-accidents should be avoided any how. Old and worn out aeroplanes should be replaced by the new ones. Competent pilots should be appointed . An aeroplane should be minutely checked before it is due to start.

Kashmir Problem

Introduction:-
Kashmir valley is called the paradise on Earth due to its scenic beauty and heavenly calm. But militancy in the valley has destroyed this paradise on Earth. In order to counter trans-border terrorism, the Indian nation has been forced into a war which has been going for the last 56 years. Kashmir is too beautiful and strategic a land to let go. India has been bleeding profusely to save it from her hostile neighbour Pakistan.

Kashmir Problem
Hari Singh:-
Kashmir became the personal property of Singh Dynasty of Dogra by a sale deed of 1846. At the time of Independence Maharaja Hari Singh was its ruler. At that time the people of Kashmir was fighting for freedom from the autocratic rule of Hari Singh. Sheikh Abdulla was the leader of the Kashmiris.
As per Independence Act. India was divided into two dominions: India and Pakistan. The rulers of India States were given option to join either of the two dominions or maintain their Independence. Almost all the princely states decided to join India. Maharaja Hari Singh signed a Stand Still Agreement with Pakistan to maintain her Independence. However , Pakistan, in clean violation of that agreement invaded Kashmir on 13.10.1947 on 14.101947, the Maharaja appealed to India for help. As India did not respond, the Maharaja sent a second appeal on 26.101947 on 27.10.1947. India accepted the offer on the condition that Kashmir would be annexed to Indian territory. The Instrument of Accession was signed, and Kashmir became a part of India.

Jinnah's dream:-
Mohammad Ali Jinnah was dreaming of capturing Kashmir. So he sent Men in the guise of tribals to instead of driving out the invaders by use of force, he approached the United Nations Organization for help. He accepted cease-fire without driving the last intruder out of the state. India is suffering from his folly till now.
Special status:-
Our constitution-makers gave special status of Kashmir though Article 370. This didn't solve the Kashmir problem. India has been spending crores of rupees in Kashmir, but still there is demand for plebiscite. The very demand shows that our leaders have failed to make Kashmir an integral part of India till now. The solution of Kashmir problem seems far away.

Pakistan's hypocrisy-
For the last 56 years Pakistan has been trying to fool us through double-talk. In August 1965, President Ayub Khan attacked India. Our touch forces made him whimper for help from the U.N.O. On January 10, 1966 the Taskent declaration was signed in the presence of Russian leaders. But Pakistan attacked Kashmir again in 1971. With the liberation of Bangladesh, a ceasefire was declared.
1971 war:-
During 1971 was India captured about 90,000 Pakistani soldiers and vast stretch of Pakistan land was under the possession of the Indian army. Indira Gandhi let go the advantage of solving the Kashmir problem by singing the Simla agreement with crafty zulfiqor Ali Bhutto. The wording of  the agreement made the Kashmir problem more complicated.

 Kargil war:-
Actually the Pakistan leaders don't want to solve the Kashmir problem. They want to annex Kashmir to Pakistan by any means. Pakistan has become a very weak nation physically, morally, ideologically and economically. The leaders of Pakistan find Kashmir a helpful diversion from frustration at the domestic front. That is why they are sending Jehadis to Kashmir to make it unstable. The heavy intrusion led to kargil war in 1999. India won the war, but the cost was high. Thousands of her heroes had to lay down their lives Kashmir.

Conclusion:-
It is high time that the leaders of India should realize that Kashmir problem can't be solved though dialogue. There must be a decisive war. The independence Kashmir must be annexed to India. The article 370 should be scrapped. Kashmir should be a full fledged State of India. There must be no restriction for others to settle in Kashmir. Our defence personnel must be supplied with sophisticated weapons to root out the militants. The soft approach so far must give way to hard approach.
