Increasing urbanization has left its own peculiar perils and problems on the villages. Village life is now subjected to economic imperialism of the urban rich spoiling the nicety of village life. One can notice urban intrusion in to village cultural life as well. Villages no more provide the people with that proverbial dream living, let alone high thinking. The lush green paddy fields, the small of cow-dung and cattle, the multi colored village fair or festival will be a thing of the past very soon. The rapid expansion of the city boundary has consumed in its fold many villages.
