The Post Man

The
post man is a government servant. He works in a post office. He is a good
friend and an honest servant of the society.
The postman puts on a khaki dress. He puts on a pant and a
shirt. He ties a belt round his waist. There is also a khaki turban on his
head. Sometimes he puts on shoes with stockings and sometimes uses chapals. He carries a leather bag across his shoulder. He gets his dress from the government.
The postman goes door to door with letters, parcels, money orders in his bag. He delivers them to the people as per the addresses given. Every day he goes round his beat. He does not care the sun or rain. He works in
the cold also. He does not work on Sunday. It is a holiday for him. He keeps
post cards, envelops, inland letters, stamps in his bag and sells them to the
people. He helps the post master in his work. Besides this he stamp's the
letters and puts seals.
The post man maintains a poor life. He gets a very small amount as his salary. He prefers simple life.
He does a responsible work. He brings good and bad news. People
give him reward if he brings money orders, posting letters etc. Everyone loves
the postman.
