People of other countries say that "India is a country of villages." It is true. There are thousands of villages in our country. Village life is the most natural life for human - beings. The village is panorama of the charming scenes of nature. It brings a divine touch into the human life. Many people like to live in villages. There are many ideal villages in India. Sanbisol, a village of Orissa in the district of Mayurbhanj is an ideal village. It is situated on a vast plain. The river Sona is flowing near it.
This village has good system of sanitation and drainage. The filth and rubbish of the village are regularly removed away into the compost pits. The dirty water of the village is properly drained away.
The dwelling houses of this village are very neat and clean. All the houses are roofed by tiles and asbestos. All have good sanitation and drainage system.
Most of the villagers are farmers. They adopt the modern system of cultivation and grow food for themselves. They eat fresh and healthy food. They grow fodder for their cattle. People take bath in the river get their drinking water from the tube wells. There are also separate ponds for men and cattle.
People of this ideal village are good farmers and artisans. They grow food grains, oil seeds, commercial crops and do all kinds of home industry including spinning and weaving.
All kinds of modern facilities are available in this village. There are primary schools, high schools, college, post office, P.H.C., live stock unit, veterinary dispensary, public library, play ground, market complex, clubs and Mahila Samities in this villages. The chief minister connected this village with Gram-sat.
People of this village are very neat and clean. They are well educated and enlightened. They have a sense of discipline and cooperation. They are never idle. They are active and cheerful. They follow the principles of plain living and high thinking.
There are some temples in the village. The villagers assembled there to listen sermons from pious persons. They observe festivals together with pomp. They always try for the all round development of the village.
